Our Story
EML Charters Solent was founded by a brother and sister who grew up boating along the Solent coastline. Weekends and summers were spent exploring the harbours and anchorages between the mainland and the Isle of Wight, often with family and friends on board.
Through years of boating and chartering together, they recognised a clear gap in the market. Many charter boats felt tired, overly commercial and maintained as working vessels rather than vessels people would genuinely enjoy spending their own day aboard.
EML Charters Solent was created to offer something different.
Today, the fleet has been curated with the same mindset as if each vessel were privately owned. Layout, specification and onboard details are carefully considered so that every yacht feels modern, comfortable and thoughtfully prepared for cruising the Solent.
Each vessel within The EML Collection is maintained and presented with the same care we would expect if stepping aboard ourselves – because in many ways, that is exactly how the fleet has been designed.
